DMOZ Technical Difficulties

As you are probably already aware, Dmoz.org is currently experiencing technical problems with it’s servers. Currently the public pages are static pages that have been generated from a backup. At this time there is no ETA for the resolution of the technical difficulties. Updates as they occur will be updated at Resource-Zone in the Announcement Thread. Hopefully the problems will be resolved quickly and we can all get back to editing.
Until editors can get back in and back to work, there is still plenty we can do. One of things I have been concentrating on since being down, is to cat-check some of my favorite categories. I have been compiling notes on things that need fixed or corrected. I have also been collecting URL’s that I don’t believe are currently listed and should be. When we do get back in, there will be a lot to do. Hopefully by keeping track of these things well, some positive progress can be made quickly once I can return to editing.
I am really new to this whole ‘blogging’ thing so excuse me if something looks strange. I am still learning. I will try to offer what I can when I have time to and hopefully you find it useful.
